Jul is a product design student at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK Berlin). After completing his apprenticeship as an architectural draughtsman in Zurich (CH) in 2020, he moved to Berlin (DE) to pursue his longstanding wish to study product design.
Jul explores various design methods and manufacturing processes — still figuring out what defines his process. Fascinated by the work of Gerrit Rietveld and Enzo Mari, he believes design can reshape systems and social norms for the better, making thoughtful experiences accessible to everyone.

In 2024, he also had the chance to attend the Industrial Design program of the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
